Matt has been interested in aviation since he was a child. A major influence came from his grandfather and father who were both private pilots. After flying in his grandfather’s Piper Cherokee, he was hooked on aviation. While in college, Matt bought a small point and shoot camera to learn the art of photography. He soon realized that he could combine his love for aviation and photography, so he devoted much time and money learning different techniques.

“I love that photography combines a science with an art. The ability to visualize a certain photo and then go out and get the shot is what makes photography such a passion of mine. I like meeting new people and traveling the world, all while constantly learning about photography.”
